HANKINS, Amelia Leath

Mrs. Amelia Hankins, 56, residing on a farm two miles northeast of Veedersburg, died at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon at the family residence.  She suffered a stroke of paralysis Saturday night.  Born in Fountain County, April 29, 1884, Mrs Hankins was the daughter of William and Sara Leath.  She was married to Homer Hankins.  Surviving in addition to the husband, are five daughters, Mrs. Mabel O'Dell of Albuquerque, NMM; Mrs. Etoral Fergurson; and Mrs. Fauneal Warrick of Veedersburg and Mary and Barbara Hankins, at home; two sons, Harry of Veedersburg, and Russell of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Gusta Riley of Evanston, Ill and Mrs Lyle Boswell of Cayuga, and two brothers, Joe and Edward Leath of Veedersburg.
